Evening Primrose Oil 10% is a source of Gamma-Linolenic Acid and is derived from the plant Oenothera biennis (Enotera biennis), belonging to the Onagraceae family.
It is very widespread in North America but also in the Italian Apennines.
From the cold pressing of the brown seeds of the shrub a precious oil rich in healing properties is obtained, used for therapeutic purposes since ancient times.
Its oil is one of the richest plant sources of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), a long-chain omega-6 fatty acid.
