WHAT IS JERRY MEAT?
In practice, these are pieces or strips of meat a few centimetres long which, through a process called “drying”, are heated so as to evaporate the water they contain.
In this process, temperatures never exceed 60°, so the meat remains intact and loses only its liquids.
In this way, by simply adding salt, the meat can be stored for several months at room temperature, becoming a high-protein snack.
